- 1/2 tuber of yam
- Palm oil
- Dried fish
- Blended crayfish
- Dried pepper
- Peel,wash and cut yam into cubes as seen in the image below.
- Add yam cubes into an pot,pour enough water to just cover the yam. Cover the pot and cook for 20 minutes.
- Open the pot and gently break down the yam cubes with a wooden spoon. Make sure not to stir to the bottom so that it doesn’t burn.
- Add the rest of the ingredients.
- Reduce the heat, cover the pot and simmer for another 10 minutes.
